Slowly but surely I'm starting to move forward with things. I just inked and colored a new banner for the website today. Strangely, it feels like my website is actually complete now, in a sense. I trimmed a little out and have worked everything down to a single, unified style. It just feels like it works and it is what I have been trying to build this whole time. Sure took me long enough (10.2 versions). More importantly, having a nice way to present my work makes me feel like pushing myself to get into a groove of producing the comic. I finally bought a subscription, since I have the money now, so I tinkered around and made this journal skin. What do you think? Let's see...I've been in college for a few weeks now. My dorm turned out to be a lot nicer than I expected: I get along with my roommate, we have our own little place to eat (litterally a few yards away from our dorm) with a Chik-fil-a, quizno's, asian food place, fajita place, salad place, burger place, pizza & italian place... the last few are just counters you walk up to and they cook your food right there. I took a hiatus without meaning to... I managed to avoid actually drawing [Demon's Heart] for a month and a half...oops. I've just been having trouble concentrating on much of anything. I've been bouncing around between various things. So, I think I'm going to start doing a smaller comic in order to get myself back into drawing. The "Happy Gloomy" strips take about an hour apiece, so they aren't nearly as intensive as a page of manga. What do you think of the three I made so far? Funny? Stupid?
